When the Black Lips first starting sending in music of the new stuff they were working on, one of the immediate favorite was “Veni Vidi Vici.“
It’s just so sexy and different from what you’d expect to come from the
mind of Cole Alexander. For some reason listening to this song makes us
want to wear tassles. So it makes sense that when shifting through new
songs to remix, Diplo
would settle on this guy. Now instead of just one Cole, there’s a whole
choir, the vibraslap is all over the place and there is enough grunting
and driving beat to make you need some alone time.
