Today we focus on Daniel Mort, 28, a sculptor from London.

Dan Mort
describes his work as ‘possible sculpture’. Fusing disparate items, materials
and production techniques, his pieces often reference familiar modernist
strategies that are thrown off balance by the inclusion of unexplained
elements…

He doesn’t like to make things easy on his audience, creating work
which is challenging and has no simple interpretation. Dan has
completed three exhibitions in both the
UK and USA in 2008 alone.
