Cyndi Wang is a Taiwanese pop powerhouse, but you don’t have to be familiar with the singer and actress’s work in order to appreciate the amazing animation the team at MixCode studio dreamed up for her latest tour. Featuring mermaids, panthers, dolphins, and a surprising number of delicious-looking donuts, the animation is pure girl power with a candy-coated bite. In addition to a dizzying array of blindingly colorful GIFs, MixCode also offers a glimpse behind the scenes at the animation’s creation. The set-up they show us is surprisingly lo-fi looking considering the neon-soaked daydream that the team eventually made.
