London’s DJ Oneman reworks one of A$AP’s breakout hits, “Purple Swag”, taking us back to those halcyon days before Comme De Fuckdown beanies became a ubiquitous tumblr staple, no-one knew just how pretty (UNGHH) that motherfucker was and misinformed broadsheet journalists referred to him as “Ay-Ess-Ay-Pee Rocky” (criiiiiiiiinge but also, LOL).

Oneman strips Rocky’s sizzurped vocals and injects the beat with bass-claps and hums, in this pared down offering, which is basically just adding steroids to what was already there, seeing as this beat was already pretty great. Still, now it’s the perfect thing to listen to in the early hours of a comedown when you have no energy to move but you still think that you’re better than everyone in the room.
