As well as having a great name (if there is such thing as a crystal bat I must have one) this twosome create hard grafted and well crafted pop songs, eliciting echoes of the kingpins of pop duos, Hall & Oates. Above is the video for their track “Falling In Love.” You can see the boys’ 80s influences oozing into the video, which glistens with super saturated colours like a Las Vegas lagoon wearing too much blusher, tinsel and maribou feathers added for good measure. The synth duo – Will Vaughan and Will Jones – who have been friends since childhood, draw influence from Prince and Phoenix.
