Although Girls Names are from Belfast, their sound is distinctly Macclesfield. I’m trying to picture myself as a young Ian Curtis, necking a bottle of pills and strolling through suburbia whilst this song plays through my Discman. In my subconscious, that scenario sounds good. In reality, I imagine that my discman would be nicked and I’d be pushed into a river for wearing black :(

Oh well. At least I’d have this song to soundtrack my drowning. A marvelously murky, ill-tempered rush before impending doom.
