I make no bones stating that Artful Dodger’s It’s All About The Stragglers is one of my favourite albums ever, ever, ev-eerrrr. I could go off on one about youth-defining club LPs, but I’ll just leave it at saying “Please Don’t Turn Me On”, where US R&B met British club sensibilities, was my top track off the album…even if it was prob a bit creepy having 13-year-old me trying to bump and grind to this at the local community centre.

ANYWAY, it’s totally appropriate then that London duo, Disclosure, who’ve been championing the next generation of future-garage come deep-house wave, decided to refresh this for 2012. Lifford’s velvety vocals stay intact over a gloriously fidgety beat, transforming it from steamy face licking in a darkened corner soundtrack into a dancefloor anthem.
