Today we drop in on 22-year-old grime MC Scorcher.

native, Scorcher began MC-ing after hearing garage collective
Heartless Crew’s infamous pirate radio shows…

Producing and MC-ing from the age
of 16 with local friends in Cold Hearted Crew, Scorcher has overcome personal
adversity to form well-respected collective The Movement with fellow up-and-coming talents Wretch 32 and Ghetto. After a succession of well-received
mixtapes Scorcher is currently working on his debut album which will feature
beats from the likes of Wiley and Joker.
