When the world has just witnessed the most significant and transformative political event of recent history, and a well-informed reaction is needed, it seems Andrew Marr just won’t do. Instead, you need someone who really knows what they are talking about: Dizzee Rascal.

Dizzee was on Newsnight last night, where he put Jeremy Paxman
straight on a few things. Firstly, it was hip-hop that won the election
for Obama and secondly, one day a martian will become leader of the U.S.

Also, I love when Paxman asks Dizzee if he believes in political parties in Britain, and he
replies, “Yeah, they exist, I believe in them,” as if he’s just been
asked does he believe in Santa. “Yeah, my mum told me all about him
when I was younger, innit. He used to bring me lots of pressies at Christmas,
still.”

Anyway, in his bid for a martian president, Dizzee has made a song called
“Martian Hop.” Below we have the world exclusive of the video.
