We know the Talking Issue just started for you guys, but on our side of
the table that shit is old news. We’ve been over those interviews for weeks and working on fresher business for the
November issue. One of the things we’re really psyched for you all to
see a month from now is this deal we did with Jim Krewson, possibly our
all-time favorite drawer and maker of stuff. We asked him “What you
been drawing lately, Jim?” and he sent us a load of doodles that made us
load our pants in laughter (and one that we swore we’d never run in the
magazine because it almost made our online editor gag up his egg sandwich).
If you want to ruin the surprise for yourself, Jim’s showing a bunch of
them at this gallery in England starting Thursday, and even if you’re in America or somewhere
completely zany like Luxembourg you should try and come. It’ll be worth
