Everyone always says that New Year’s Eve sucks, but that’s a bollocks wisdom spread by people who enjoy going to VIP areas in clubs. New Year’s Eve is great–everyone’s worked up into a state, the busses are free and there are four house parties to every street. House parties only get good at around 3 AM though, so you probably want to go somewhere else first, somewhere you can meet strange hot youths five drinks in and desperate for attention. Mirror!(who’ve actually changed their name to YOUVES) and the bizarro Rolo Tomassi are playing, which means lots of pissed-up ex-straight-edgers having fun for the second time in their lives, which will be amazing.
