Osama Bin Laden was a man who divided opinion. To some he was a bully-defying, God-serving hero, while to others he was the most despicable terrorist who ever lived. You know what they say though – people are only really brought together by death, and so it proved when Osama was gunned down by Navy SEALs in a top-security compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, on May 2nd. The following Friday, Islamic extremist group Muslims Against Crusades and British nationalists the English Defence League gathered together outside the US embassy in London to register their feelings at Bin Laden’s death.
Unfortunately, the two different parties couldn’t find any common ground. Insults were thrown, arrests were made. It was a send-off Osama would’ve been proud of, and VBS was there to capture the whole thing for posterity.
