Comanechi — now equipped with a drummer and including former The Big Pink and PRE star, Keex, and bass/guitar player, Simon — are ready to piledriver your ears with “Love Is The Cure”.

Fittingly rough and rugged around the edges, the new visuals see the trio prancing around in some hallucinogenic wonderland that resembles the pick-n-mix aisle in Woolworths circa 1998, juxtaposed against black and white balloons. It’s an eerily sweet and sour pairing that gets backed up by the song’s sway between reflective verses and a raucous, groggy chorus but it works.

The single is out today and forms part of their second albumYou Owe Me Nothing But Love.
