At first, “Perfect High”, the new track from South London artist Only Girl, bobs along like a cut’n’copy version of any bedroom producer from the past year. But then, somewhere around the 00:42 mark, a beautifully soulful voice kicks in over a warm, comforting bass line and “Perfect High” becomes an aural love letter that describes that feeling of elation when you discover the one person that is your destiny. The track was produced by Henry Binns of Zero 7, and will be on Only Girl’s new EP, set to be released in the new year.
