Alexandre Herchcovitch is a Creator

Alexandre Herchcovitch Autumn/Winter 2010

Alexandre Herchcovitch is just about the biggest name in Brazilian fashion that doesn’t make flip flops or swimwear. In a lot of ways Herchcovitch’s hometown, Sao Paulo, is the future of our globalized world. It’s one of the world’s biggest cities–more than twenty million people live there, with one of the fiercest divides between rich and poor in the world. Being from the future is a pretty nifty advantage for a fashion designer and Herchcovitch reckons living in Sao Paulo means he designs clothes for the whole world, because the whole world is on his doorstep. We made a film with him for The Creators Project we’re working on with the brainy guys at Intel. You can watch it here.
