Balu Brigada is a musical commixture of three brothers and a best mate. The Auckland indie poppers sing about unexpected pregnancies and reckless love on New Zealand’s North Island.

Their latest single, “Could You Not” is inspired by true events that involve the embarrassing and dismal stages of the dreaded ‘friend’ zone. From the perspective of the “friendzonee”, frontman Henry Beasley delivers cleverly crafted vocals that take reference from Frank Ocean, or beloved Australian rapper Allday.
