This Chinchilla’s ornery because Jackal dropped it. The LA-via-UK producer has been hinting at “Chinchilla” for two weeks now on his Instagram and Snapchat, giving fans a small audio-taste that ends right before it hits the drop. Today, we’re happy to give you that long awaited thump you’ve been waiting for.

Jackal has been on that classy, minimalist trap-game for a minute, fusing an interesting blend of reggae love in “Shakedown” and a bubble-poppin’ banger “Bubblegum,” featuring one of my favorite LA local’s, CRNKN.

Whether or not “Chinchilla” will raise awareness for the near-extinct species is yet to be seen, but it will certainly raise some fists to pump at his many upcoming dates. Cousin Splinter approves.
