The family of Bobbi Kristina Brown has announced that the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has passed away. In an incident eerily similar to her mother’s passing, Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub in late January by her husband and subsequently placed in a medically induced coma. She would later be moved to a rehabilitational facility, where attempts were made to get her to breathe without the assistance of a respirator, and for a while it appeared she was fighting to get her life back. Hope dimmed last month as she was placed in hospice care, where the focus shifted to helping her live out her last days in comfort. TMZ suggests the family made a choice to cease her medication after specialists informed them recovery was unlikely.

Brown’s family gave a statement to Entertainment Tonight: “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.” Love, light and concolences to the family in their time of mourning.
