As Cambodia Fashion Week draws to a close, Charlet meets Rina, an orphan who fought her way from the streets of Phnom Penh to follow her passion for fashion. Rina holds an alternative fashion show with clothes made from materials such as coat hangers and bin bags. Then we hightail it to the other side of Cambodia’s fashion spectrum, the closing party of Cambodia Fashion Week, where Charlet has been asked to model refugee-turned-designer Remy Hou’s rather unique line of James Bond/Matrix-inspired garments.
