At least one person has been killed and dozens were injured during clashes between white supremacists and counter-protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday.

It started Friday evening when neo-Nazis marched through the University of Virginia campus carrying torches, sparking violent confrontations with hundreds of people who came to protest their event.

The two groups came out again on Saturday. Police tried to separate them and asked everyone to clear the area. Multiple arrests have been reported but it was unclear exactly how many.
