Remember that experimental app that let you make ultra-cool digital spin art on your iPhone? No? Well, there goes the rest of your afternoon. 

Creative developer Jean Helfenstein is back with a continuation of his sketching technology: leapOchoid, a new experiment that creates 3D geometric shapes using the Leap Motion Controller. While the tech involved is pretty complicated, it uses similar mathematics as Rot.Sketch to create trippy 3D goodness from start and end positions in 3D space. 

No word yet from Helfenstein on when the app will become available, but enjoy these trippy hypotrochoids in the meantime (say that five times fast!)
