Holy shit, how is there already a fifth Crocodiles record? #TBT to 2009 when their first record Summer of Hate came out and I would drive around screaming every lyric to “I Wanna Kill.” The band has come a long way since then, having expanded their buzzy 80s-influenced sound intended for long motorcycle rides, into a brand new colorful album.

The band’s new track “Crybaby Demon” is what you would call “salsa-punk”— the type of track that is still very much drenched in Crocodiles-style reverb, but one that you could most definitely salsa dance to if you wanted to. [Insert salsa dancing lady emoji here]. We’re premiering the track’s video below, which features the duo jamming out in front of a billion projections of cool shit wearing their signature greaser leather jackets and dark shades. It basically makes you feel like you are stuck inside of a massive light leaked photo, which is every Tumblr users dream. “Crybaby Demon” comes from Crocodiles’ upcoming album Boys, out May 12 via Zoo Music.
