Virginia rapper/singer D.R.A.M. had a pretty crazy 2015: rising from obscurity to respectable renown off the strength of two EPs and the bubbling regional hit “Cha Cha,” only to have the soul of the song jacked and leapfrogged to the charts by Drake’s sorta-but-kinda-not remake “Hotline Bling.” D.R.A.M. recaps a rollercoaster year on the new cut “1 Year,” which incredulously reviews the ways life can change in 12 months time.
