Not all crimes go as planned.
Like suppose you wanted to break into a meat shop and make off with some juicy sausages. That’s what one 28-year-old man recently had in mind when he burglarized (or tried to burglarize) Hudson Meats in Austin, TX. But a couple of crucial aspects of his scheme went awry—very, very awry.

For starters, it took him 20 minutes to successfully break down the door. It’s miraculous that he waited it out, but his tenacity was not his weak point. Then came the sausage-snatching, which was quick and deliberate. He fled. Perhaps his admirable degree of patience with attempting to enter the building would pay off, one might think.
But then he un-fled. And curled up in the back office with a nice, toasty, cozy coat. And was soon woken up from his peaceful slumber by none other than Austin’s finest. He was charged with criminal trespassing.
Unsurprisingly, he later told police that he had been out drinking. Come on, dude; the next time you have the drunchies, just walk through the Taco Bell drive-thru window like the rest of us.
