When someone says Turkish Prison your first reaction isn’t usually: man, would I love to get my party on right now. That is, unless you’re Andy Szekeres. As a part-time member of Midnight Juggernauts, and a full time party monster, he’s re-branded the phrase with his new outfit Türkish Prison. The new interpretation is all dense drum samples and Arabian arpeggios, their debut EP Ancient City even comes with a box of incense and a tantric meditation manual.
