The long awaited video for Ocean’s “Pyramids” is basically how my people in Bollywood would do a video: super camp and way over the top for no discernible reason. But instead of running through meadows and singing about unrequited love, this is all about the classic romantic trope of a girl working at a strip club.

Admittedly, there are an uncomfortable amount of crappy slow-mo laughing and gyrating shots, and a bit where John “my dick is racist” Mayer looks self-consciously pretentious while playing a guitar. And yet, I just love the idea that Ocean would probably close his eyes and sing to a stripper rather than, y’know, ordering her to turn around make her ass clap.
