While having a look at what DJ Mehdi’s been up to over on his blog, we happened upon a mixtape he posted spun by New York rapper Blu Jemz called No Way Back (To Africa). As the title suggests, it’s got an African vibe to it, with plenty of booming sounds, hypnotic chants, and progressive beats to carry you through the afternoon. DJ Mehdi’s calling him America’s next superstar DJ, and that’s as good a recommendation as any. Check it.
