From Pokémon to a giant whale that terrorizes Los Santos, Merfish’s GTA V creations are more than worth both classifications—”Hot Shit” and “My Greatest Achievements.”—the YouTuber keeps on their page. But when it comes to PC reimaginings of the Guinness World Record-smashing game, this recreation takes the cake:
“The intro to Captain Planet recreated in GTA V. He was one of the first superheroes that I grew to love, and with it grew my love for the environment and stuff. GO PLANET!” is all Merfish needs to preserve their place in history—Captain Planet recreated in GTA V is the stuff instant classics are made of. Seen here, the shot-for-shot remake casts the game’s only-mother-could-loveable characters as the five Planeteers bestowed with the powers of Gaia, with a blue, green-mulleted version of Trevor Philips playing Earth’s titular savior.
