For the latest installment in their dramatic and action-packed Max Payne series, Rockstar Games recruited the talents of L.A. noise rock band HEALTH to create a score that captures the melancholy of the character as well as the run-and-gun story of his time in São Paulo.

In the video above, HEALTH describes how they used various combinations of audio stems to maintain the narrative flow of the game and its rising and falling action sequences.
