This Parisian crew recently came to our attention via their collaboration with JD Samson (Le Tigre/MEN) on the track “Win”—the nostalgia-burnished lead from their EP of the same name (out on 12/10 on Atlas Chair/Sony Entertainment France).

Below we’ve got an exclusive first spin of another tune from The Aikiu’s EP. “Somehow/Surfin” is an exuberant, tropicali-splashed, new wave cut, replete with dancing guitar lines designed to make you shimmy and shake even if you’re down in the dumps because you just found out your goldfish of nine years (Dion) passed away.
