So apparently this body-positive doo-wop number named “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor has been No. 1 in the US for five weeks. It’s gone double platinum and racked up 130,000,000 views on YouTube despite the confusing metaphor that underlies the title. Firstly, what is bass referring to? A butt? General bodily mass? Even more confusing is that there’s actually very little bassweight to the track itself.

Enter the internet. As is fitting for a hit of this magnitude, SoundCloud is rife with remixes of all ilks pitting their wares against each other to earn the title of ‘actually all about that bass.’ Here are some of the best, worst, and most ridiculous:
