Yesterday, Meek Mill was sentenced to two to four years in prison by a Philadelphia judge for violation of his probation. Twitter users protested the ruling as unfair, and now Jay-Z has stepped in to offer his own support for Meek. In a brief post on his official Facebook page, Jay called the sentence “unjust and heavy-handed,” noting again that it was disputed by the assistant district attorney and Meek’s probation officer.
