The tributes to Prince have been pouring in since the artist passed away on Thursday morning, but perhaps no venue has quite had the occasion to celebrate as did Coachella, which opened for its second weekend last night, with many artists paying tribute to the acclaimed musician, including renditions of his best known tracks provided by LCD Soundsystem and Jack Ü.
Billboard reports that headliners LCD Soundsystem performed an upbeat cover of Prince’s “Controversy” while Jack Ü—the duo of Diplo and Skrillex—interspersed their set with samples of Prince’s hits. Watch clips of the performances below.
