Zola Jesus, AKA Nika Roza Danilova, has ditched her blonde goth look and gone down a Fleetwood Mac inspired route, harking back to when they were at their chemically-fuelled best. Her latest song, “Fall Back,” is an ode to lost love and comes from Zola’s highly-anticipated fourth album, Versions. The new album promises to be full of surprises like this track, with Danilova declaring, “The album is about the bone of the music; taking approximations from past records and turning them inside out.” We’re into it.
