VICE News reported live from Hong Kong, where tens of thousands of protesters have mobilized to voice their discontent with the Chinese government’s refusal to allow democratic elections in the autonomous region. Demanding the right to choose their own leaders, students and demonstrators, some  affiliated with the Occupy Central movement have brought Hong Kong’s business district to a standstill.
