Mac Miller’s Warner Bros. Records debut album GO:OD AM is out as of midnight, and it’s easily the Pittsburgh rapper’s best work. Opener “Brand Name” sets the tone for the rest of the record over lush, horn-laced production from longtime associates ID Labs as Mac tries to shake the drug addled pall of last year’s dark, heavy Faces. The “Brand Name” video snuck out along with the album, and it’s a winner. In it, Mac plays a family man and business exec who wakes up one day to find out everything he knows about his world is a lie. It’s a trip. Stream “Brand Name” below and grab GO:OD AM here.
