The Chicago Cubs destroyed the Cleveland Indians 17-0 last night. Cubs 3rd baseman Kris Bryant chipped in with a 452-foot grand slam in the 9th. Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell, and Chris Denorfia also homered.

After crashing his Ferrari while intoxicated on Tuesday evening, Chilean authorities have suspended Chile and Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal‘s driver’s license. Vidal, one of the world’s top midfielders, is a member of Chile’s Copa America squad. He’s so important to the Chilean team, in fact, that Chile’s coach Jorge Sampaoli seems unlikely to remove Vidal from the squad.

Also in Copa America news, Brazil’s Neymar and Colombia’s Carlos Bacca were both shown red cards for a tussle in the aftermath of Colombia’s 1-0 victory over Brazil.

Australian Olympic gold medal swimmer Kylie Palmer was suspended for doping. The suspect test was administered two years ago during the World Championships in Barcelona. The 25-year-old maintains she has never consumed banned substances.

FIFA’s absurdist autobiographical film, United Passions, has officially broken records: It had the worst opening in U.S. box office history.
