?Berlin-based, Gothenburg-born, Fredrik Nyberg, also known as NIBC (or DJ NIBC) has long been a key player in Sweden’s vibrant music landscape. The last handful of years have seen the artist flexing his strength as a producer, DJ, remixer, as well as the label head of Trunkfunk Records. 

Today, the artist dons nearly all of his professional-hats, as he readies his next original EP, Vega, for his own imprint, the title track of which we have streaming above. With a vibe akin to the breezy days of winter, “Vega” flows with deep-house melodies, and a level of stipped-down sophistication that is as much uplifting as it is chilling.

There’s even some subtle hints of acid, rounding out a sound-design that impressively evolves throughout the track’s entirety.
