PREMIERE: BOYFRNDZ’s “Ghosted” is the Psych-Rock, Sci-Fi Fantasy You Need Right Now

BOYFRNDZ is a band out of Austin, TX that plays a shimmering, heavy kind of psych-rock that works its way into flourishes of sludge and shoegaze. The band’s upcoming record Impulse is a snazzy mix of huge and weird songs, showing off the band’s commitment to putting together bewitching tracks. Today the band is premiering their new video for “Ghosted,” the sci-fi fantasy adventure their music rightfully deserves. We follow a weary traveler on his journey through a strange corner of earth where he encounters a possessed outlaw, a terrifying demon, A Good Place To Die, hidden beers, and even more demons. It’s a totally whacked-out visual, perfect for lying back and getting ripped, feeling one with the blissed-out psych rock.
