PIPA, the notorious copyright-protecting bride of SOPA, was postponed this morning by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. But pipa, that wonderful two thousand year old Chinese guitar-like instrument, hasn’t skipped a beat (or a pluck)! Here it is, in the talented hands of Wu Man, playing classics that have been around for centuries, thanks in part to what the record industry dislikes most about China: rampant and unauthorized copying.
