I don’t always listen to rock music… but when I do, it’s probably a Thomas Barfod remix. The prolific Danish producer and remixer has figured out the formula and he’s sticking to it: cinematic synths, funky, retro basslines, slow and sexy tempos, and plenty of breathing room on top of it all. The dude drops a remix, like, once a week these days, and this time he gave the Barfod treatment to a lovely rock band out of Cleveland called SomeKindaWonderful. The result is a groovy earworm with all of the unbridled emotion of your favorite radio rock indulgences. Happy Monday.
