Uber has hired the two security researchers who made headlines earlier this month after hacking into a Jeep.
The researchers, Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek, both this week quit their previous jobs at Twitter and security firm IOActive, respectively. At the time, Miller said he could not reveal the identity of his next employer. Both Miller and Valasek have been hacking cars in the name of research for the past several years.
