Lately, enigmatic producer Unknown has been proving to be anything but what his name might suggest. He’s recently been catching the attention of everyone from Pitchfork (who featured his tune “I Cry”) to even your super hip friend down the street. The title track from the upcoming I Cry EP, which will be released on the fast-rising label Champion Sound Music, features the sultry vocals of Gemma Dunleavy and has just received a stellar remix by UK producer Ejeca. Further fueling anticipation for the upcoming EP, Ejeca has taken Unknown’s spacious, static-drenched textures and imbued them with his own signature deep house garage sound.
