While Googling “Shebeen Queen” we discovered it’s actually the name of the women who run illegal African bars. Naming your band after possibly the coolest human females alive is a tough move, you don’t want to draw that comparison if you are even one percent weiner.

Luckily the Sydney post punk duo manage to pass the test. Their impressive first single “Take Him Away”, off their self-titled EP, would make those law evading beer selling heroes proud.
