Dry snares, dreamy vocal harmonies, and funky, reverb-heavy basslines help drive the killer post-punk track by South London’s Virginia Wing called “World Contact.” The scorcher is culled from Measures of Joy, the band’s new LP due via Fire Records in November. Think Broadcast, New Order, Killing Joke, Q and Not U, or anything danceable, funky, beautiful but still a touch sinister.
