Vosper & Bozzwell is the collaboration of British producer Bozzwell and Canadian duo Vosper, a team that collectively embraces the lightless depths of dark techno. For “Music for the Lost and Dead,” Vosper & Bozzwell’s new single on Throne Of Blood, director Mike Tessier realized a vision invoked by the song:

Upon hearing the track, I immediately began to see dark empty spaces, underground realms shrouded in shadow haunted by some unseen presence. I had an impression of souls in limbo in some undefined film noir realm between reality and hell and/or heaven. The minimal nature of the track and the organic flow made me want to create a video that was slow and smooth and more like a series of still frames than an action oriented video… like an old vintage photo album. I thought if I used light, shadow, wind, and smoke almost exclusively for the sense of action/motion and the actual subject matter (Jasmina, in this case) was almost completely static, then something real cool might happen.
