Kendrick is up for eight awards tonight: seven for “HUMBLE.,” and one for Artist of the Year. That’s more nominations than any other artist tonight. He opened the ceremony with that song, along with a fearsome rendition of “DNA.” There were also martial artists scaling a wall of flame, so now everyone has an unfair bar to live up to.
