LA based songstress King avriel, who’s in a similar league to FKA Twigs and Kelela, picked up a fair bit of blogside press with the release of last year’s “Prelude” and “Failed Messiah.” She’s back now, with her new one, “Freedom”, which is split into two halves. It’s deeply personal and there’s quite a bit of a backstory to it but I’ve been sworn to secrecy and can’t say anything for now. So I guess just revel in some lowkey R’n’B and the best haircut you’ll see today.
