I guess packing it into a cannon didn’t work. A slingshot’s too small. A carrier pigeon would probably just smoke it. So, smugglers in Mexico have resorted to hurling packages of weed over the border fence with a medieval-style slingshot, marking, I think, the zombiest of zombie tech we’ve covered here at Motherboard.

Anyhow, the story goes that American authorities on patrol spotted the approximately three-yard tall slingshot sitting on the back of a flatbed truck across the border. Mexican authorities were notified and soldiers then raided the site. The smugglers were gone, but the slingshot was confiscated along with 35 pounds of unslung pot.
